Third Grade Math Skills
Addition and subtraction facts should be memorized before third grade. If your child does not know his/her addition and subtraction facts without counting on fingers, then please work on those at home. Multiplication facts will need to be memorized also. Weekly timed tests will be given once students have had ample time to learn multiplication facts. We will use manipulatives in math to help students grasp new concepts.
