Study hard, keep trying your best, and remember to read, read, read each and every day...it's the only way to become an excellent reader! Don't forget to fill up your reading log as you do so, and you can earn a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut at the end of each month.
It is also important to study your math facts nightly. Now is the time to work hard so that we can be the best that we can be...wait and see!!!

Dolch Sight Words
DOLCH words are sight words that appear most often when reading. Learning to read these words is very important. Students can read more fluently when they recognize these words. Begin with the Pre-Primer list. Once your child has mastered that list, continue to the other lists. Your child should not have to sound out these words. Our goal is for your child to recognize them instantly (within 3 seconds.) We work on these daily at school, as well. When your child brings home sight word cards with 10 stickers, praise him or her. Post these on the refrigerator or some important place. Please, also continue to review these words.
