About Mrs. Zaremba

I have really enjoyed teaching third grade for the past five years! I previously taught third grade at Chestatee Elementary in Forsyth County for three years and just finished my second year teaching third grade at Westmont Elementary. I've had such wonderful teaching experiences at both schools and I am looking forward to teaching your child this school year!
My father has been my inspiration. I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher like him! He is still in education and is an assistant superintendent at the school system that I attended. I am actually surrounded by many teachers in my family and we have a lot of "teacher talk" around the dinner table!
Purdue University

I am originally from DeMotte, Indiana. It is a small town about 45 minutes outside of Chicago. I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education in 2001. I also obtained a Reading Minor and Kindergarten Endorsement from Purdue. Go Boilers!!! I moved to Atlanta, Georgia after graduation and began my teaching career!

I moved to Columbia County last year to get married! My husband's name is Matt Zaremba and he is a mechanical engineer at Club Car. He is also a Purdue alum!!! He enjoys visiting the classroom so I am sure you will hear a lot about him. We really enjoy living here and we are fortunate to have such great jobs! We try to visit our families in Indiana and Illinois often. It is hard being so far away, but we love it in the south! We have four beautiful nieces. I am a very proud aunt!
