| Students come to resource for the area(s) their disability affects their education. This can range from Reading, Language Arts, Math, and/or Social skills depending on their area(s) of need. Instruction and assignments are individualized and tailored to meet the needs of each student. Teachers strongly emphasize teaching students to independently utilize strategies to help them become successful and become life-long learners. Everyone has the capability to learn – he/she may not learn the same way, but he/she is capable of learning. |
HOMEWORK |
When homework is assigned, it is sent home in their homework folder. Parents should see that it is returned the next day.

PROGRESS REPORTS |
| Parents are informed of their child's progress through progress reports and report cards. Progress reports are sent home on a "progress report" form. Progress is also reported on the student's IEP goals when their report cards go home. His/her progress is noted on the goals and objective page(s) from his/her IEP. Academic grades are noted on the student's report cards. |
