Classroom Management Plan
Team 6-1
Expectations:
1. Be on time and prepared for class with required materials.
2. Be respectful in words and deeds.
3. Take responsibility for one’s words actions.
4. Follow LMS handbook rules and Code of Conduct.
5. Always have and utilize the Daily Planner.
6. Listen and follow directions.
Consequences for inappropriate behavior and poor choices:
1. Verbal Warning
2. Silent lunch/Name in Discipline Log/Note in Planner
3. Phone call or e-mail home/In-Team Isolation
4. Morning Detention (After 3 offenses OR Teacher Discretion)
5. Disciplinary Referral. These are issued for Multiple Offenses OR Teacher Discretion, usually as a last resort.)
Rewards for appropriate behavior:
1. Fun Friday at lunch
2. Verbal Praise
3. Courtesy call, e-mail, or postcard
4. LMS Character PAW (may be redeemed for free ice cream in cafeteria! YUM!)
*Severe inappropriate behavior will NOT be tolerated and will result in immediate notification of the administration. Please stress to your child the importance of good behavior while going over these expectation, consequences, and rewards.
Please cut and return to your homeroom teacher to be kept on file.
