Classroom Management Plan
Team 6-2
Classroom Expectations:
1. Respect is the rule, the rule is respect.
2. We remember our classroom permissions (talking, pencil sharpener, etc.)
3. We keep our hands, feet, and objects to ourselves.
4. We come to class prepared (pencil, paper, and books).
5. We remain on task.
6. We walk quietly and orderly in the halls.
7. All rules in the LMS Handbook and Code of Conduct.
Consequences for inappropriate behavior or poor choices:
1. Verbal Warning
2. Silent lunch/ Name in Discipline Log
3. Parent Notification and Morning Detention (After three offenses OR Teacher discretion)
4. Parent notification
5. Disciplinary Referral. These are issued for multiple offenses or major offenses. (This is usually a last resort.)
Rewards for appropriate behavior:
1. Fun Friday at lunch
2. Verbal Praise
3. Courtesy call, e-mail, or postcard
4. LMS Character Paw
• Severe inappropriate behavior will NOT be tolerated and will result in immediate notification of the administration. Please stress to your child the importance of good behavior while going over these expectations, consequences, and rewards.
Please cut and return to your homeroom teacher to be kept on file.
