Welcome to Mrs. Pierce's Class
Welcome to an EIP class at Bel Air. In this class, we study math and reading at an accelerated pace. Bel Air is a great school in which to learn and have fun. We do lots of neat activities and projects.
At this website, you will find some general information to help you in my EIP class. You can find homework assignments, calendar information, a list of Accelerated Reader books, and many more topics. The homework assignments will be published weekly. They will also be written on the board in the classroom. On some days, we may not finish a lesson and the assignment on the website may be incorrect. It is a good idea to always check the homework planner. This is a website in progress. I will continue to add to it.

Mission and Goals
Our mission is to provide each student with meaningful instruction in a safe school environment and the resources needed to promote quality work and lifelong learning.
Some of the goals for my class are:
-Each student will learn to his/her greatest potential
-Each student will feel a sense of pride about his/her work
-Each student will show respect for himself and the others in the class
-Each student will be excited about learning and willing to explore new avenues of learning
-Each student will learn to use math as it is needed in the real world
-Each student will learn and grow through mistakes and accomplishments. |
