I invite you to enter the world of learning in fourth grade at Brookwood Elementary. I believe that children are special gifts to the world. The best learning takes place in a caring, loving, safe environment. In order to succeed, students need to feel comfortable to attempt the difficult and know that it will be okay to stumble and try again.
The challenges of our competitive, global society compel me to have my students work in teams, build models, practice problem-solving, work to build communication skills, and learn how to study. We enjoy technology, manipulatives, simulations, learning stations, and puppets. Creativity is a valuable tool in presenting the core curriculum. |
