Me Education/Certification:
In 1992, I received my bachelor of science degree in Middle Grades Education from Augusta State University. I received my master of education degree in Instructional Technology from Troy State University in the summer of 2003. I am certified in the areas of business education, social studies, and language arts.
LHS crest Experience:
I am currently in my sixteenth year of teaching. I have always taught at the middle school level. I have taught science, social studies, business ed. and and language arts. Currently I am teaching seventh grade language arts. I feel very fortunate to have always taught at LMS. Our school's faculty and staff are commited to kids and being the best! I am blessed to be a part of the Panther Pride!

I have sponsored several clubs during my teaching career. Currently, I am the sponsor of WLFJ, a student-led Bible study group that meets once a week. I have also served as our school's yearbook advisor and Beta Club sponsor. I have tried to commit to a variety of activities. I like to get involved and encourage my students to do the same!

buzz Personal:
I am married to Craig Plunkett and have two sons. My oldest son, Spencer, is a sophomore at LHS. My youngest, Grant, is in sixth grade here at LMS. We have a pet lab named Lacie, whom we absolutely adore! We recently added a dapple dachsund named Rocky to our home as well. He is full of energy and keeps us busy!

If you ever need to track us down, start at one of our local ballparks. Both our boys love football and baseball. We are at the ball field with practice or games almost every night of the week. I enjoy watching them compete and being their "cheerleader"! The lessons they are learning through team sports is invaluable. Our family also enjoys going to Atlanta in the fall to cheer on the GT Yellow Jackets. Win or lose, it's great family fun!
