How many credits do I need to graduate? Class of 2010 and 2011 - 22credits Class of 2012 and later - 23 credits
How do I earn credits? PASSING CLASSES - students receive 0.5 credits for every class passed every semester. That means you can earn 6 credits a year.
How many credits do I need to be promoted? Class of 2010 and 2011 5 credits = 10th grader or sophomre 10 credits = 11th grader or junior 16 credits = 12th grader or senior
Class of 2012 and later 5 credits = 10th grader or sophomore 11 credits = 11th grader or junior 17 credits = 12th grader of senior

| What do I do if I fail a class? |

There are several options once a student has failed a course. You must always check with your guidance counselor to see what is right for you. Option #1 - Richmond County Evening School - $250 - all classes are not available Option #2 - GA Virtual School - $150 - No electives available Option #3 - GA virtual School Credit Recovery - $80 - No electives available, no Algebra III available Option #4 - Brigham Young University Independent Learning - $121 - No college prep course available, if you fail the final exam you fail the course.
