Accelerated Reader
We are very excited about the new web based AR program. This program offers thousands and thousands of tests. To check to see if a book is on AR... click on the "Accelerated Reader" link at the top of the page.
AR goals: Each grade level has a classroom goal and a principal's goal. Each student that meets their classroom goal will be allowed to shop for AR prizes at the end of each 9 weeks. They will also receive a special prize from the media center! |

Policies and Procedures
Each class has a time that they are allowed to come for check-out. Most classes come weekly. This time may also be used as lesson or story time. All classes will remain flexible. Teachers may collaborate with the media specialist so that lessons taught in the media center can reinforce those taught in the classroom. Library skills will also be taught.
Students may check out:
Pre-K - 1st: one book (Some teachers may give approval for students to check out 2 books)
2nd - 3rd: 2 books
4th - 5th: 3 books
