| Reading Brings the Family Together! |
| You are your child's role model and first teacher. It is important to read with or to your child every night. I firmly believe that the only way students become better readers is to practice those skills. It is the same with any skill. If you want to become the best dancer you must dance, if you want to beome the best basket ball player, then you MUST play! There is an old addage that says, "Perfect Practice makes Perfect". This is true in sports and education. Your child should read material that he/she enjoys and can read independently. You may want to read more difficult material together. So get out there and READ! |
