Ms. Smith's 2009-2010 Class Dear Students and Parents, I am very excited to meet each of you! The theme in our classroom is "Teamwork". I am certain that we will form a winning team, focused on having the most successful year imaginable. Please know that I am available to you at any time, and the more closely we can work together, the greater the benefits will be for everyone. We will be teaming with Ms. Pond's class. Ms. Pond will teach everyone Math, Science, and Social Studies. I will be teaching Reading and Language Arts. Keep checking this website for lots of important information and fun ways to learn. Let's have a wonderful Third Grade Year!!!
Sincerely, Ms. Sandra Smith (706) 447-1016 Room 303

About Ms. Smith I taught first and second grades in Virginia and Multiage (First and Second) in Texas. I graduated from Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia where I received my Batchelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a Reading Endorsement in 1989. I received my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Virginia Tech (go Hokies!) in 1994. I have two beautiful daughters. Sydney is in 4th grade and Sloan is in First. Last year, I returned to the classroom after working in the business world for eleven years, and I cannot express the joy and excitement I have at returning to my true love of teaching! |
