May 5-9, 2008
Dear Parents,
Thank you to those of you who will be coming on the field trip on Friday. It is no cost for admission. Please remember to bring your lunch and you may need to drive if the seats on the bus are full. We will be leaving at 9:15 and returning at 1:30. You may want to be here around 9:00 a.m.
Reading: This week we will read “Rocking and Rolling”. We will have tests on Reading and Spelling this week. We will have our spelling and reading test on Thursday.
Language: We are practicing some poetry this week. We are also working in our cursive book until the end of the year.
Math: We are working on Ch. 22 (multiplying). This test will be on Wednesday.
Social Studies/Science: Reviewing map skills. We are continuing a unit on health and safety in Science.
