Mrs. Shanahan's MoID (Moderately Intellectual Disabled) Class |
| Our self-contained class consists of students who require individualized instruction and a functional curriculum. Students are given one on one instruction with a certified Special Education Teacher and paraprofessional. The main goal of the MoID program is to help students become as independent as possible in school, at home and in the community. |
Materials Needed: |
1. Tissue/Kleenex
2. Baby Wipes
3. Toothbrush
4. Toothpaste
5. Liquid Soap
6. Paper Towels
7. 3-ring vinyl binder with pockets
8. Blanket/Pillow for "Nap Time"
9. Daily snack for "Snack Time"
10. Change of clothes and undergarments (clothes with be kept at school for
emergencies)
11. If your child wears pull-ups or takes medication please let me know. I
will make arrangements to store them.
OTHER ITEMS WE MIGHT NEED DURING THE YEAR:
1. dish detergent
2. detergent to wash clothes
3. Clorox Wipes
4. Ziploc Bags
