Suggested Homework For Each Week

We will use our planner to put homework assignments inside. Use these to look for assignments each night. Should your child not bring the planner home you can do the assignments listed below.
Remember each night to work on multiplication facts!
Monday Night
Work on spelling and vocabulary words.
Read the beginning of the story.
Do the math your math teacher assigned.
Tuesday Night
Work on spelling and vocabulary words.
Read the ending of the story.
Do the math your math teacher assigned.
Wednesday Night
Not much homework
spelling pretest tomorrow
study the vocabulary words
Thursday Night
Re-read/look over the story-know how to read the vocabulary words and what the vocabulary words mean
Write words missed on the spelling test 5 times each
Math your teacher assigned
Friday-Sunday
It is the weekend and a perfect time to read Reading Counts books and learn multiplication facts |

For Maximizing Homework:
*Work with a parent
*Work in a quiet location
*Have all of your supplies ready
*Have good lighting
*Have a break of snack, rest or exercise
before you begin
*Stop if you are frustrated and have your parent write me a note!
