Spelling Words
We will not have a spelling test this week.
The weather is constantly changing. Please layer up! Please send a jacket/sweater with your child.
If you send a water bottle to school with your child, please make sure it has only water in it. Thanks!
Homework is expected to be completed daily. Look for assignments in the planner!
• English/Language Arts: We will be writing responses to literature as we read several Christmas stories aloud.
Reading Selection: I have left this week open for Reading Counts books. Read Mon. and Tues. nights. All library books have to be returned Wednesday.
• Math: Chapter 15 Customary and Metric Length /Ch. 16 plane figures- Please direct questions regarding math to your child’s math teacher.
Your child may bring a healthy snack each day.
Tennis shoes worn daily guarantee your child is ready for P.E. class.

Math Night: December 15 at 6:30 p.m.- Please RSVP. For planning purposes, please return the golden rod form if you plan to attend or send a note. Thanks!
Our class party will be Wednesday at 2:45. We will set up at 2:30.
This Week:
Reading: Books to take Reading Counts tests on.
Reading books will be collected Thursday. New ones will be given out when we return in January!
Grammar: Maintaining/Reviewing – subject/verb agreement, comparative/superlative adjectives, contraction review
