CRCT WORKSHOP
Don't forget about Thursday evening's CRCT Workshop. The workshop will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. We had a good number of parents sign up, and Mrs. Herrity is really excited to give you lots of great information on this very important topic!
END OF YEAR ACTIVITIES
It's getting to be that time of year when it seems like every week, there is something exciting going on here at SCE and within our classroom. As this school year comes to a close, please be EXTRA aware of the papers and information that come home with your child, especially since I will be on maternity leave and the students will have a substitute. You will need to rely heavily on the weekly newsletter...my webpage will NOT be updated after this week.
Here is a list of some of the upcoming activities that will be coming up between now and the end of the year. I am unsure of some of the exact dates. You will be receiving information regarding all of these events, so please be on the lookout in the upcoming weeks!

POPCORN FRIDAY!
Remember to bring in your money for Popcorn Friday by Thursday morning. You can pay in advance for several weeks if you wish, instead of paying every week. For example, if you bring in $1.00, that will pay for this week AND next. All money collected by PTO will go towards the construction of SCE's brand new playground!

FRIENDLY REMINDERS
** YEARBOOKS! Yearbooks are still on sale here at SCE for $25. Order forms have already been sent home, but if you need another one, just let Ms. Washington know. She'll be glad to send one home.
** Don't forget about Popcorn Friday! The cost of one bag of popcorn is $.50. They can bring in their money any time during the week, but no later than Thursday morning.
** Parents, if you are interested in volunteering to be a member of SCE's Relay for Life Team, please contact Coach Meg McGowan at 706-863-3220 (ext. 211) or by email at margaret.mcgowan@ccboe.net
** Be sure to check out the links on the left-hand side of our webpage. There you will find important reading information like our current PowerPoint, vocabulary, and spelling words. You will also find the science vocabulary and study guides that we are working on. There also is a link to our class calendar.
** Please remember to check your child's agenda nightly. It is very important to complete all assignments that have been given for homework. |
