All the requirements for this project!
The criteria letter is to assist parents/guardians on the specific items that need to be completed. |
Star Pattern Interesting Fact Worksheet Item # 5: Star Pattern Interesting Fact Worksheet Students only have to complete 4 star constellations with 4 or more details. However, they can complete all sections because this will provide more information for creating their board game. |
Board Game Information Sheet Item # 6: Board Game Information Sheet This sheet provides ideas for creating a board game. Please watch the PowerPoint presentation on this web site to give you additional ideas. |
Board Game Grading Rubric Item # 7: Board Game Rubric Please use this rubric as your guide for completing this assignment. Even though this is the best part of the entire project, this should be the last to complete. It is much easier to make questions and answers for your game after you have all your information. |
How-to-Essay Grading Rubric (This is the Rules and How-to-Play your Board Game) Item # 8: How-to-Essay Rubric Plese review this rubric to ensure that your child has completed this assignment correctly. Also, please use your child's English Textbook pages 144-145 for the correct format. This How-to-Essay is for the RULES of how-to play your child's board game. REMEMBER THIS IS THE ONLY ITEM THAT CAN BE TYPED! |
Research Report Writing Rubric Item # 9: Research Report Writing Rubric This research writing rubric is the same as what was used for the Arctic Tundra research report. Students know the format and just in case they have forgotten please see pages 362-363 in the English book. The students choose their three subtopics to write about. Make sure you write a fabulous topic paragraph to hook the reader of this research report! Also, summarize what you have learned and DO NOT forget to reference back to your three subtopics in the conclusion. (I had the BEST Arctic Tundra writings this year and cannot wait to read these research reports!)HAPPY WRITING!! |
Research Report Writing Graphic Organizer Item # 10: Research Report Writing Graphic Organizer Use this grahic organizer to "organize your thoughts" before writing. REMEMBER do not to write your research report on this graphic organizer! You just need to list details that you want to include in your rough draft of writing. Remember that it takes time to write a good research report, so be comfortable with writing and re-writing several times. Even though you must hand write this report, I suggest that-IF you have a computer-you can type your report so that editing is easier. Once you are finished, you can HANDWRITE this report. |
