Welcome to Kindergarten!
Who is Mrs. Swenson?
It's exciting to be starting my 8th year at Stevens Creek, where I have taught both Kindergarten and First Grade. I have also taught in Florida, Ohio, Michigan and South Carolina and have had experience teaching grades K-3. I love that every year is a new adventure.
My husband and I love to travel- especially to visit our son and daughter-in-law in Florida and our daughter, son-in-law and grandbaby Dylan in Atlanta. We also love spending time at the lake.
My committment is to offer a safe and comfortable environment for children. Children should be able to have hands-on experiences and feel secure when they make mistakes. A classroom is a busy place, noisy at times, but with many learning experiences taking place all the time. I view teaching as a partnership with parents. We must communicate and work together to make the year the best for your child. Parent help is welcome in the classroom. Many opportunities will be offered during the year. I am committed to make this year a great learning opportunity for both the students and myself.

Who is Mrs. Partridge?
Mrs. Partridge, our para, is an important part of our teaching team. She helps make each day productive and exciting for your child. She has been at STC for 5 years. She and her husband have an adorable 1 year old - Fortson.
