Welcome to First Grade!
Who is Mrs. Swenson?
This will be my 7th year at Stevens Creek and my first time looping with my previous class. I have had experience teaching grades K-3, in several states. I am committed to make this year a great learning opportunity for both the students and myself. My husband and I love to travel- especially to visit our son and daughter-in-law in Florida and our daughter, son-in-law and grandbaby Dylan in Atlanta. We also love spending time at the lake.
My committment is to offer a safe and comfortable environment for children. Children should be able to have hands-on experiences and feel secure when they make mistakes. A classroom is a busy place, noisy at times, but with many learning experiences taking place all the time. I view teaching as a partnership with parents. We must communicate and work together to make the year the best for your child. Parent help is welcome in the classroom. Many opportunities will be offered during the year.

Who is Mrs. Partridge?
Mrs. Partridge, our para, is an important part of our teaching team. She helps make each day productive and exciting for your child. She has been at STC for 4 years and is a new mom. She and her husband welcomed Fortson in March. She loves being a mom, but is ready to come back to our class.
