COMPUTER APPLICATIONS
Course Description:
The focus of this course is the instruction of computer software skills which encourage students to apply critical thinking abilities as they create MSOffice spreadsheets, databases, presentations, and business documents. Students will develop computer and software skills required for post-secondary education classes and future career development.
Materials needed: 1" binder for portfolio and a pen or pencil
ACCOUNTING
Course Description:
The basic accounting cycle for a service and merchandising business will be introduced to ease the transition into business and collegiate accounting. Accounting concepts will be introduced which encourage students to apply critical thinking skills as they plan, record, analyze, and interpret financial information.
Accounting software will be utilized for quick and easy journalizing, posting, and generating accounting statements. Project-based business applications will be completed to reinforce accounting concepts. Students will develop the accounting skills required for both personal financial management and future career development.

MARKETING
The basis of this course is the instruction of marketing concepts which encourage students to apply critical thinking skills as they identify needs of customers, develop and market products and services, and operate business profitably.
