Math:
Monday - Visit to the computer lab to learn how to create bar graphs on Excel. Homework: Worktext 172-73
Tuesday - Continue with Graph Unit. Discuss and take notes on different types of graphs. Take data and organize it, analyze it, and prepare to put data into graphs. Homework
Wednesday - Begin to work on Graph booklet. Each student will have a rubric outlining the requirements.
Thursday - continue to work on booklet
Friday - Finish booklet. Turn in for a grade.
Social studies:
Monday - Finish Latin American class projects. Class discussion on how economy determines rich and poor countries in Latin America. Homework: Vocab words
Tuesday - Begin new unit on Canada. Check vocab words; define others. Begin looking at map of Canada. Take a pretest about students know and don't know about Canada.
Wednesday - Powerpoint on Canada's history. Take notes.
Thursday - Continue with Powerpoint on Canadian history. Begin Viking ship model.
Friday - Finish Viking ship. Finish Canadian history.
