| This site is for Pre-K - sixth grade and has several different subject areas, including language arts. Join free to prevent a registration window from popping up each time you access the site, but it will allow you to skip that and go directly to the games. You can also join the website for additional activities and ad-free access for a fee but it is not necessary. The benefits of this site outweighs the disadvantage of seeing advertisements and clicking though a membership offer window each time. Parent supervision is recommended to prevent students from clicking on ads accidentally. |

| Accelerated Reader is a motivational reading program designed to help students improve their reading skills. Students set goals, read books, and take computerized tests to develop comprehension and greater reading ability. It is web-based. Click on the link to check if a title has a test available, the book level, and the points to be earned. You can also search to see if Blue Ridge has a test for a particular title here. |
