About Ms. Walker |
| Hi, my name is Truvine (rhymes with machine) Walker. I’m originally a native of Thomasville, GA. After completing my Bachelor of Science and Master of Education in Speech-Language Pathology at Valdosta State University in Valdosta, GA, I began my career working in Northern Virginia. After three years in Northern Virginia public schools, I decided to broaden my horizons, and began my career as a “Traveling SLP”. That job has enabled me to work in schools, hospitals, and long-term care facilities in various locations in Ohio, Illinois, North Carolina, and now Georgia. While I have worked with students ranging from ages 3- 21 with a variety of needs in the areas of communication, the bulk of my experience is with elementary age children. When I’m not working, my time is spent reading, traveling, bowling, attending sporting events, dining out, and spending time with friends and family. |
