Parent Information |
Parents,
Some of our students are having difficulty with the basic addition and subtraction facts from last year. Please help your child by having him/her practice each day with flash cards. The math that we will be doing soon requires quick recognition of the basic facts. All students should bring to school their own set of flash cards for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.We still have many students who have not brought in their cards. Graded papers are sent home each Tuesday. Please review the work with your child, sign and return on Wednesday. All additional notes or letters from the school should be in the front pocket of the binder. Vocabulary in Reading, Social Studies, and Science is to be reviewed each day. Reading and Spelling tests are usually scheduled on Friday.Tests in the other subject areas are scheduled as the chapters or units are completed. Please contact me if you have any concerns or questions about your child's progress. Remember that reviewing vocabulary and reading for 30 minutes is homework each day.

| Our class is looking for several parents to share the task of being "Room Parents". We will occasionally need help with holiday activites, projects, or trips. Please email me if you are interested in volunteering time in some of our activities. |
