In second grade, I hope the students will begin to develop a sense of responsibility for their schoolwork. Weekly assignments will be distributed on Monday and are due on Thursday. Assignments will be specified in the weekly newsletter. There may be additional assignments such as reviewing our reading story on Thursday night before our test on Friday.
There will be weekly spelling tests and the word list will be sent on Monday. Students should also be encouraged to read fifteen minutes a day (Monday - Friday)and take a weekly AR test. Thank you for your support. |
