Background Info: |
| My name is Kim Wilkinson, and I have been in special education for over 20 years. I have both a Bachelors and Masters degree from Georgia Southern University, and I am currently working towards my Specialist degree. As a teacher, I worked with students with disabilities in Swainsboro, Statesboro, Carrollton, and at Lakeside Middle School here in Columbia County. This past February, I moved into the role of Special Services Facilitator. I have been married for 18 years to Roger Wilkinson who runs Wilkinson Sports Management, a player development and advisory service for high school baseball players. We have four children who attend Columbia County Schools, as well. They range in age from 7 to 15 and keep us busy with many sports activities. |
My Responsibilities: |
I am responsible for assisting administrators, teachers, parents, and students at North Columbia Elementary, North Harlem Elementary, and Harlem High School in any way possible in order to provide an appropriate learning environment for students with disabilities.

My Philosophy: |
I believe that working together as a team is a key factor towards positive student achievement and the development of a beneficial educational plan for each student we serve. At all times, I will do my best to provide support and information to those with whom I work. Coming from Georgia Southern, I admire the legendary Coach Erk Russell. He had only one rule for his football team -- Do Right! Both personally and professionally, I believe that if I "do right" by those I encounter, everyone benefits.
Please feel free to contact me at any time if I can be of assistance to you!
