Betsy Rogers is a product of Columbia County Schools. Her Alma Mater is Evans High School, class of 1989. She received her undergraduate degree at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. Upon her graduation, she moved back to Augusta to teach high school English. During those eight teaching years, she taught at Lakeside High and Greenbrier High. Also, during this time, she acquired her Masters Degree from Augusta State University, her Educational Specialist Degree from Georgia College and State University, a husband who is also a product of Columbia County Schools, and two beautiful children, Mayci and Jake. Her life is just too full to work full-time, so she job shares the assistant principal position with Mrs. Zgol. Betsy’s days are half of Monday and all day Tuesday and Wednesday. This gives Betsy plenty of time to spend with her family and her horses. She loves Bel Air and all the experiences it brings to her life!
