Your child will need to bring a book bag each day. The book bag needs to be big enough to hold a folder without bending the folder. This book bag will never be loaded with school books. Rolling book bags do not fit in the children's lockers. It is not necessary to put your child's name on any supplies. All supplies will be stored together for all to share. |

Bottle of glue 4 Glue Sticks 1 pack of #2 pencils with erasers 2 Vinyl bottom pocket folders Extra pencil top erasers 1 box of 24 Crayons 1 Pencil Pouch with zipper 1 pack of wide- ruled Notebook Paper 1 black and white composition notebook Colored pencils 1 Water bottle with pop top (Maximum size 18 oz. and can be disposable) *Individual teachers may request additional items at the beginning of the year. All four hardcover textbooks will need to be covered before August 31. You may use cloth (jumbo size) or paper book covers. Please do NOT send additional items such as small pencil sharpeners, pencil boxes, markers, binders etc. Label all supplies with your child's name. Rolling book bags are discouraged for second graders. At this age students are not required to carry heavy textbooks and often fail to "drive" their book bags safely! |
