First annual Sport Stacking Tournament takes place Scenes from the tournament On January 24th Cedar Ridge held it's first annual sport stacking tournament. The entire school watched as the finalists battled it out. Click on the link above to see our winners.
On Saturday, February 9 thirty-three students from our school competed in the first annual World Sport Stacking Association Georgia State Championship. The WSSA Georgia State Championship was held at Woodland Middle School in Euharlee, Georgia. The event attracted 208 competitors from three different states.
The Cedar Ridge students who placed in the event are: Jackie Rau 3rd grade, Emon Reeves 3rd grade, Joseph Halter 4th grade, Tres Randolph 4th grade, Amethyst Rorie 4th grade, and Jodi Belcher 5th grade. Amethyst Rorie won first place becoming the new state champion in her age division.
Congratulations to all of the students from our school attended the tournament for doing an outstanding job representing their school and Columbia County.
