Mission Statement: The purpose of the National Beta Club shall be to promote the ideals of character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students, to reward meritorious achievement and to encourage and assist students in continuing their education after high school. Vision Statement: The National Beta Club, a student-centered organization, continually develops and nurtures individuals by providing opportunities and experiences enabling them to demonstrate the ideals of character, achievement, service, and leadership in a global community.

Meetings are also held on Club Days in Ms. Bell's room. *You must attend either the afternoon meeting or the Club Day meeting each month.

Dues: Returning Members: $5 New Members: $15
Credits: Turn in all credit forms to the Beta book in Ms. Thornton's Portable (7)or Mrs. Glover's room (202). 1-3 hours = 1 credit 4-8 hours = 2 credits 9-12 hours = 3 credits
Mandatory Credits: Service - 4 credits per semester (8 total) Trash pick ups - 3 credits per semester (6 total) Candy Sales - 2 credits per semester (4 total)
1st Semester Credits and Make ups due: December 20th 2nd Semester Credits due: April 18th
Year Long Credit Opportunities: *Box Tops for Education - $5 worth of tops = 1 credit *Pop tabs - 2 20 oz. bottles of tabs = 1 credit *BUGS Meets every Saturday in September, October, November, January, February, and March. 9AM - noon at Belair Elementary School.
