FALL BLACK HISTORY TRIP
Look forward to going to the Augusta Museum of History and the Lucy C. Laney Historical Museum. Our target date is a Saturday in October!! We are planning a day of fun and fellowship. The cost will be minimal.

SCHOLARSHIP LETTER CAMPAIGN
How ready are you to enter college? Will you have to pay the whole bill? There is unclaimed money out there and you can get it. The Black History Club will host a letter campaign seminar for juniors and seniors who wish to obtain information on how to obtain scholarships. Sign up with Ms. Armstrong as soon as school opens in August of 2006. You can get a schedule of events and be notified of gatherings.

YEAR LONG CANNED FOOD DRIVE
Bring canned foods to Ms. Maslyn's room (Room 208) all year long. We will help to supply the Golden Harvest Food Bank.

SPRING BLACK HISTORY TRIP
We will take an out-of-town trip and return to the Savannah Black Arts Festival. The Grand Festival to culminate the events will be on February 10, 2007. It is our goal to be there for a tour that morning and go to the festival that evening. It will be a fun event. Check out our pictures from last February.

VARIETY SHOW
Get ready for an exciting show which will feature "Creative Impressions," a local gospel choir comprised of high school youth in the CSRA. The choral group is directed by Ms. Evelyn Ellis. Make plans to be there February 3, 2007.
