Keep Our Students Safe! |
If you drive your child to school, we ask that you look over these important safety rules. We want to avoid the "near misses" we've had in the past. 1. Turn off your cell phone. (We cannot warn your child or instruct you if you are on your cell phone.) 2. Place your car in park! 3. Please put the car rider name sign (provided by us) in your car window so duty personnel can read it from a distance. 4. Stay in your car! We know you love your little one, but we promise to deliver him/her to you with care. 5. Please do not stop and leave large gaps between you and the next car...we need to serve as many cars as possible in a very short time period. 6.Follow the car rider procedure by using the back of the school. The line will move very quickly as we progress through the first days of school. 7. Please notify the school before 3:00 PM if you need to make a transportation change for your child. The best thing to do is to send the student with a note to school giving the teacher those instructions if at all possible. This helps eliminate confusion in the afternoon.
Please note the following: The force of a deployed airbag can injure a young child even in a slow-speed crash. Children 12 years and younger, including infants, should not be placed in a seat in front of an airbag.
Thank you for helping us keep your children safe at all times. |
