For the safety of our walkers, please observe the following:

• Walkers are to enter the school through the lobby and are dismissed from the side door at the front of the school.

• Students who are walking unaccompanied should have parental permission to do so. A school employee will escort students to the corner of the campus to ensure the county safety crossing guard is on duty.

• All students should walk across the street with the assistance of the crossing guard. If you ever observe that a crossing guard is not present from 8:00-8:30 or 3:30-3:45, please notify the school immediately.

• Parents wishing to meet their children may wait in the picnic table area or at the corner of the campus.

• Walkers are to remain on the sidewalk at all times. No students should be walking through the parking lot areas.

• Student may not ride any wheeled vehicles on campus. Items such as bicycles or scooters must be pushed or carried to the bike rack, and students may resume riding once they leave the campus.

• Please do not drive golf carts to the door to pick up children. You may wait for them at the corner of the campus and the teacher will bring the students to you.

• Under NO circumstances are walkers to be picked up by a car in the front of the school. In the event of inclement weather, please plan on picking up children in the car rider line at the back of the school. You may call the school to notify your child of the change.

• No pets are allowed on campus unless otherwise approved by the teacher or administration.
