Future Business Leaders of America

Purpose of Club
Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is the oldest and largest national organization for students preparing for careers in business leadership. This club prepares students for “real world” professional experiences. Members gain the competitive edge for college and career successes. FBLA can provide you with travel opportunities, challenging competitions, scholarships and prizes, leadership development, community service experience, friendship and fun, and much more.
Meeting Dates/Times
Because this is the club’s first year back to Greenbrier, FBLA will be meeting mainly on club days here at school. There may be a few meetings after school, but these will be planned as needed.
Dues
The dues for FBLA are an annual fee of $12.00. This covers the cost of the national ($6.00) and state ($3.00) dues, with a little extra for club supplies.
Important Information
FBLA had originally planned to support Toys for Tots this year for Christmas. We will now be assisting the NJROTC with their school wide fundraiser for these children.

It is now official! FBLA raised a total of $145.00 for Toys for Tots in just one week! Ms. Lovelady, Ms. Bellamy, Oscar Perez and Jordan Tejeda went to Walmart and purchased all of the toys for the toy drive. This money is in addition to all of the toys that were brought by members instead of money. Thank you very much to all of the FBLA members who gave time and money/toys to support those who are less fortunate at the holidays.

NEWS BULLETIN:
Unfortunately, the soup kitchen does not have any dates available for volunteering until after the Christmas holidays. We are asking if any members would like to participate in volunteer work at the Golden Harvest Warehouse, sorting out Christmas gifts for families in need. We need at least 10 students to be able to participate.
