Mr. Smallwood and his wife both grew up in Atlanta and graduated from the University of Georgia. Mr. Smallwood also has a Masters degree and Specialists degree from Georgia College and State University. Mr. Smallwood worked at Clark Central High School in Athens, Westside High School in Richmond County, Riverside Middle school in 1992, Greenbrier High School in 1996, returned to Riverside Middle School in 2006 as an Assistant Principal, opened Stallings Island Middle School in the fall of 2008 and feels extremely fortunate to now be at Grovetown Middle School |

Ms. Kubicek grew up in West Columbia,
South Carolina. She graduated from Airport High School. She has degrees from the University of South Carolina and Augusta State University.
She was a classroom teacher for one year in elementary school and she taught all four subject areas in middle school for six and half years . Once she moved into counseling she served at the elementary level for two years and at the middle school level for twelve years. She has been an administrator for five years at Grovetown Middle School.
Ms.Kubicek's biggest challenge thus far has been balancing situations and events which must be handled as they occur while maintaining a schedule of things that have to be done.
