Harlem High Athletics
Harlem High School has a rich tradition in athletics. Coach Jimmie Lewis is the athletic director at Harlem High. He is a native of Harlem, Georgia and graduated from Harlem High in 1970. He has been coaching at Harlem for the past 31 years and has won several state championships in baseball. Harlem High offers many sports for both boys and girls and all of these sanctioned sports are governed by the GHSA rules and regulations.

In order for a student to participate in any school related competitive event, he/she must have passed five subjects the semester immediately preceding participation. These courses must carry credit toward graduation or grade promotion. All high school students must also be "on track" for graduation. The student must be enrolled in at least five courses during the semester of participation. Second year students need to have 5 credits. Third year students need to have 10 credits. And fourth year students need to have 16 credits to be eligible to particpate.
