Appointments
The School Counselors see students by appointments. The appointments begin at 8:00 am and finish at 2:00 pm. Walk-ins are allowed from 11:00 am to 12:50 daily. If a student needs an appointment there is a sign-up clipboard in the guidance office.
Extracurricular Activities Transcript Documentation
Harlem High School will no longer hand write our students' extracurricular activities on the back of their hard card. Students are asked by most colleges to supply a resume or letter stating their extracurricular activities. The Guidance and Counseling Office strongly recommends students visit the college website of their choice to study the application process. Additionally we recommended students begin building their resume their freshman year.
Transcripts
The Harlem High School Guidance and Counseling Department will only provide student with the electronic transcript beginning in the 2005-2006 school year. This transcript will provide colleges and universities with the student's coursework, corresponding grades, class rank, and GPA. Harlem High School is changing the transcript policy effective March 1, 2006. Please
