The school system offers employee benefits to protect and enhance wellness and quality of life. The system offers a comprehensive selection of benefits designed to fill a variety of needs. To help with the expense of selected benefits, the board of education negotiates for lower rates and pays a portion of certain benefit costs. All costs of offered benefits are paid through payroll deduction with many benefits qualifying for favorable tax treatment under the Cafeteria Plan.
