| Along with over 20,000 volumes of fiction and nonfiction titles, the Media Center has 29 computers with internet access for student use. In addition, we have video cameras, digital cameras and microcassette recorders available for student checkout. Our LCD carts include an LCD projector, laptop, DVD/VCR combo, and speakers available to the students. Keep in mind- Our supply doesn't always meet the demand- PLAN AHEAD! |
Newspapers & Periodicals |
| LHS subscribes to the Augusta Chronicle, Atlanta Journal Constitution, USA Today, and the New York Times Sunday edition. We also have 52 different magazine subscriptions ranging from Popular Science, Golf, Southern Living and Seventeen. |
Databases |
| LHS boasts a database with 50 CD-ROM programs at the students disposal. These CD-ROMS include information on African American Culture and History, British Literature, Science and Technolgoy, Poetry, and much more. |
