Cafeteria

Parents,
The cafeteria staff welcomes you to another exciting year at River Ridge Elementary. We look forward to seeing the smiling faces of your children coming through our lines! We would like to make you aware of some general guidelines for the cafeteria.
1. Meal prices are $1.75 for lunch, $1.25 for jumbo, and $.75 for breakfast. Reduced meals are $.40 for lunch, $1.25 for jumbo, and $.30 for breakfast. Non-students’ meals are $3.00 for lunch and $1.00 for breakfast.
2. Money may be placed in an account for your child's meals. It will be used as a debit system with a student number provided to your child. We will send notices home when your child's meal account is running low. Please keep in mind that some notes don't always make it home with your child, so if it has been a while since you have credited your child's account, please ask your child if he/she needs lunch money, or feel free to contact the cafeteria manager.
3. We offer a minimum of 3 different entree choices each day. You may view the monthly menus by clicking on the link at the top of the RRE home page or at CCBOE.net and clicking on elementary lunch.
We also offer hot and cold breakfast for those days when you are running behind. Breakfast is a healthy and nutritious way to get the body ready for the school day.
4. Food allergies need a doctor's note to be filed in the cafeteria. Returning students must submit a new doctor's note for the new school year.
5. Please make us aware of any special food needs that your child may have. We will make every effort to make accommodations for your child.
6. If you have any questions or problems, please call Joy Banks in the cafeteria so that we may help you resolve any issues. If you call during serving hours, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible. Our number is 706-447-1016 ext. 510.
