High Schools/High Tech For More Information High Schools/High Tech assist students with disabilities in transitioning into the work force. High Schools work with Vocational Rehabilitation Services and the Georgia Department of Labor to identify personal interest and develop a career path. High Schools/High Tech work to make the transition from high school to work a smooth step. Students benefit from working with participating agencies in the form of student tours or job shadowing opportunities. |

Easter Seals School to work transition is critcal for students with disabilities. The Easter Seals Job 2000 program allows students to benefit from working and obtaining a paycheck while they are learning valuable skills. The program is designed for students with disabilities to achieve their required classroom instruction while gaining employment training in a real workplace environment. Transition at Work Columbia County High Schools are working with participating agencies to help students with special needs transition successfully into the work world. Many of our students are paid for their time in each job site. They are proud and represent our school system with pride. |
