Information on the Swine Flu Columbia County School System Fever Policy (NEW) In accordance with the new regulations set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC),the school system has established a policy which requires students to be fever- free(less than 100 degrees via oral thermometer) for 24 hours prior to returning to school. Additionally, the fever should be gone without the use of a fever-reducing medicine.
