WELCOME TO CHEMISTRY
CHEMISTRY I is a science course that demands good study habits. Material is NOT just memorized but must also be applied and synthesized. Each chapter is based on material covered in previous chapters so it is VERY IMPORTANT that each student MASTER THEIR NOTES DAILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CHEMISTRY II is a second year course in which the areas of nuclear and organic chemistry are covered 1st semester and forensics (crime chemistry) is studied 2nd semester.

ABOUT ME
I have been teaching for 27 years with 26 of those years in Columbia County.
Courses taught have included physical science, biology, chemistry, forensics, and anatomy and physiology.
I also coach the Science Bowl team which has finished in the top four three times and placed 3rd in the 2006 Regional Competition.
My degrees include a Batchelor of Science in Biology from Augusta State University and a Masters in Secondary Education Science from the University of South Carolina.
In addition to teaching I have also worked as a music director at a local church for 23 years.
My hobbies include participating in various church activities, reading, gardening, being with friends, and traveling. |
