Biography
Born in Colorado I have lived many places through my travels as an Army brat and as a soldier for 20 years. I retired from the Army in 1991 (Field Artillery - Hoooahh!) and began teaching at Columbia Middle School in 1992. I've been here ever since. I've taught 8th grade (all subjects -but primarily math and history) and coached the entire time I've been here.
I was married for 33 years and have 2 sons. Billy (30) is living in Macon and works for Delta. His wife, Lorie, is a high school chemistry teacher in Jones County. Steven (24) played professional baseball during the summer with the Aiken Foxhounds and during the remainder of the year he is finishing college. |
