AR Test-taking Tips
Use these tips to determine whether or not you are ready to take an AR test. If you cannot remember these details, your AR test will be a “wash”.
1. Identify the main character(s) Answer the question in the space provided. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

2. Think of several important events (1 per chapter) that involved the main characters such as: how the characters behaved, felt, or thought during these events Keep it short! List these events in order on the back.

Example: Ch. 1-Jonas reacted anxiously when an unidentified plane flew overhead.
Notice, I included a name and an action.

3. Especially, remember events that answer these questions: why did or how did these events happen. Don’t write the answers to these questions- just think about the answers.

4. Also, think of where and when these events happened. Don’t write the answers to these questions- just think about the answers.
