| | VISUAL ARTS | This is a hands-on class that introduces art history, art criticism, aesthetic judgment and studio production: emphasizes the ability to understand and use the elements of art and principles of design through a variety of media, processes and visual resources; and explores master artworks for historical and cultural significance.

| | AP STUDIO ART I | | The AP Studio portfolios (Drawing, 2D or 3D Design) are designed for the students who are seriously interested in the practical experiences of art, AP scoring in this area is not based on a written examination; instead, students submit portfolios for evaluation at the end of the school year. AP Art students spend one or more years studying master works, exploring techniques, creating and analyzing exemplary works based on guidelines established by the College Board. |

| | CERAMICS II | | This is a Studio Course that continues the exploration of surface treatments and finishes. This course enhanses level-one skills and provides students additional opportunities to apply design methods and explore the purpose and function of ceramic forms, past and present. |

| | CERAMICS I | | This is a Studio Course designed to offer students the opportunity to explore two and three-dimensional approaches to handbuilding and throwing ceramic pieces. This course will also incorporate the exploration of surface treatments and finishes. |
