Seventh Grade is a time of both change and challenges. I will be working closely with you and your child to ensure a successful year. My expectations are to have your seventh grader become a competent and responsible learner. In order for this to take place, I expect:
1. YOUR CHILD WILL COME TO SCHOOL PREPARED TO LEARN.
2. YOUR CHILD WILL DISPLAY APPROPRIATE SCHOOL BEHAVIOR.
3. YOUR CHILD WILL MASTER THE 7TH GRADE SCIENCE CURRICULUM.
To enhance your child's education you may refer to the following chapters from our textbook.
READING STRATEGIES:
Ask your child to explain or draw what they have read.
Discuss the illustrations with them.
Review vocabulary.
