One Hundred Years From Now
One hundred years from now It will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money was in my bank account nor what my clothes looked like. But the world may be a better place because I was important in the life of a child.

About Mrs. Coleman... Hi... I am Jill Coleman. I plan to get to know you and your child quite well this year, so I thought I would go ahead and share a little bit about me with you... I have lived in Columbia County my entire life. I attended Westmont Elementary School, South Columbia Elementary School, and Columbia Middle School many, many years ago. I graduated from Evans High School in 1987. I graduated from Augusta College in 1992 and I began teaching in August of that year. I returned to school and obtained my Master's Degree from Troy State University in 2000. In 2004, I received my Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University. I am currently working to complete my Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership. I began my teaching career at the middle school level where I taught eighth grade for 6 years. I moved to elementary school in 1997. I taught at Greenbrier Elementary School for 11 years, teaching grades 5, 4, and 3. I am married and I have three children and two step children... they range in age from nineteen to six years old. My oldest daughter is a freshman at Augusta State University this year, my son is a ninth grader at Evans High School, and my youngest daughter is a first grader here at EES. My two step-daughters attend school in McDuffie County. Obviously, I love children.
In my free time, I love to read and watch good movies. My favorite place to be is at home with my family. Of course, my second favorite place to be is here... at Evans Elementary School. I am certainly looking forward to spending the year making a difference in the life of your child. |
