About Ms. Dudley... I've been lucky to have lived all over the southeast in my childhood and young adulthood. I've lived in Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Louisiana and a brief time in Oklahoma. I've lived in the CSRA for nine years. This will be my seventh year teaching. I've been fortunate that I've been at GBE all my teaching career. Before that I worked as a social worker in Florida and Georgia. Outside of work, I enjoy being a mother to my son who is also a fourth grader at GBE. This will be a very unique year in that I will be teaching 4th grade and be a parent to a 4th grader. I also enjoy working in my yard, reading, and spending time with my friends. I have a large extended family and spend a lot of my time traveling to visit all of them.
I attended the University of South Florida in Tampa and earned a B.S. in Elementary Education. I was awarded a softball scholarship and played competitively for four years. I also attended Troy State University and obtained a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. I do plan on returning to school again to obtain my specialist's degree sometime in the future.
I look forward to getting to know my students and being a part of thier educational experience. I like to have fun in the classroom through class discussions, but I expect my students to work hard and do what is needed. I believe that education should be fun, exciting and enlightening, and we can best achieve this through working together as a team. It's going to be a great year! |
